HELP WITH ANXIETY - What Works
Here are some simple and quick remedies that can help you manage your anxiety:
1. Freeze an orange or tangerine. When you feel anxious, hold the frozen orange or tangerine until it is uncomfortable. (This gets your focus off your anxious thoughts; you are now concentrating on this freezing orange or tangerine.) This is kind of like when one gets a headache, then stubs their toe, they no longer have the headache. (However, holding a freezing orange or tangerine will not leave you black and blue.)
2. Next, place your hand at the back of your head; slowly and gently press your head towards your chest, and feel the back of your neck stretch. Now, take your right hand, put it over your head to the left side of your skull, then slowly and gently press your head toward your right shoulder. Then, take your left hand, put it over your head to the right side of your skull, then slowly and gently press your head toward your left shoulder. Then tense your whole body, count slowly to ten, and release.
3. Bach's Rescue Remedies are very helpful, too. These herbal remedies come in capsules, drops, and even gum. Just pop one in your mouth to feel calmer. You can purchase these herbal remedies in health stores or online.
4. Talk to a therapist or a good friend.
5. Put some Frankincense or Lavender on your skin or in a diffuser.
6. YouTube has some wonderful inspirational speakers that will instruct you on Godly thinking. Put these addresses in your browser.

I hope you have read my other two blogs on anxiety and have started your exciting adventure with your creator, Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus is always with you, guiding and supporting you on this journey.
"In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus)was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through HIM (Jesus). Without HIM nothing was made that has been made. In HIM was LIFE, and THE LIFE was the LIGHT of men. The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it." John 1:5
Anxiety did not just happen. It took time to get this anxious. It took heartbreak, trauma, disappointments, you name it to get us to this shaky point in our lives. All around us are stimuli from technology and comparing ourselves to others. Perhaps others have compared you to other family members, and you might feel the need to "measure up" to these expectations. But we have to remember that we are all God's individual masterpieces. There is no one quite like you or me, we are ALL necessary. You must believe this.. If we surrender our lives to God through Jesus Christ and ask for the daily filling of the Holy Spirit of God, we WILL have the peace that passes understanding, and our lives will have true eternal purpose and meaning. However, we must train our brains to stop our "stinking, negative" thinking. Remember,
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he" Proverbs 23: 7
Well said, April!
